Iskustvo kusanja vina koje smo dozivjeli kod vinarije Tomic nije samo wine tasting. Nama je to vise bio kao ritual uzivanju u vinu, pricama vrhunskih strucnjaka i autohtonim sortama otoka Hvara. Posebno nas je dojmio triklinij - mjesto od kamena po uzoru na Dioklecijanovu palacu sa stupovima od travertina te svodovima od sedre. Zaista nema boljeg mjesta gdje uz vrhunsko vino i dobro drustvo mozete pobjeci u carobnu povijest otoka Hvara te iskusiti onu iskonsku ljubav prema trsovima vinove loze. I za kraj jako nam se dopao moto vinarije koji glasi "Pije se na ure, ne na litre" - koji hoce reci da u vinu treba uzivati dugo i polako, razmisljati o njemu i stvarati uspomene.

We stopped at Vina Tomić during our time in Jedda and it was one of the highlights. The family-run winery offers a warm welcome and a really atmospheric tasting in their impressive underground cellar, which feels cool and historic carved into the rock.
The wines are excellent—especially the crisp Bogdanuša and Pošip whites, and the full-bodied Plavac Mali reds that taste of the island’s sun and herbs. Everything pairs perfectly with the simple local cheese and bread they serve.
The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, making the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. If you’re in the Verboska/Jelsa area and enjoy Croatian wines, it’s well worth a visit. Book ahead and go with an appetite for good wine.

We have been buying Vina Tomic wines for years now and I can honestly say it is the best wine in the island. The winery is absolutely STUNNING and DEFINITELY worth a visit. The staff are always so lovely and helpful it’s a pure pleasure to go to there.
I have had a lot of Croatia wines but this wine is most definitely my the best. You can tell how the owners are so passionate about their wines.
Everywhere is absolutely spotless.
The setting is incredible.
Do not go to the island or Hvar and miss the opportunity to visit this incredible place.
You can also book wine tasting with delicious cheeses and meats set in an incredible setting.

We had such an amazing experience at Tomić Winery! The wines were outstanding, full of character and clearly made with passion. Every glass told its own story, and you can really feel the tradition behind it.
