Realizing that fewer and fewer people are engaged in viticulture on the island, we decided to plant our own vineyards, while we procure the rest of the grapes from our permanent subcontractors. Today, the winery owns about 10 ha of its own vineyards, mostly oriented towards organic production, because besides the production of healthy grapes and quality wine, it also ensures the preservation of the environment and human health.
More significant vineyards are located in the bay of Vira (which is also an ecological vineyard), in the old town field (Ager) and in the vicinity of Jelsa.
We produce wines from different varieties, dominated by plavac mali as a black variety, and pošip and bogdanuša as white varieties. We also use cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc, muscat yellow and some other domesticated varieties.
